“Where Do I Begin?…”

This blog may seem a little bit beyond the scope of a ‘typical’ blog post… but it’s where my story truly begins and why the services that I provide are so important to me — Happy Homeownership is more than just a deed of title, or a mortgage payment that you pay every month.

As I look back on my younger years, I realize the seed of my business was planted early on and that my surrounding spaces and communities had a large effect on my life and other lives such as my siblings, friends, and acquaintances. And, a little bit unconventionally, I had experience multiple significant moves before reaching adulthood. Changing my home and surroundings definitely had an impact on me both negative and positively.

I remember always dreaming of the perfect home space since there was always an idea that I could be leaving my current home. But, because the places that I lived in were very different areas of the country, I was able to learn about cultural differences, environment changes, and design styles. It was easy for me to see that homes are an important space. Comfortability for some looks like beautiful brick buildings close together, for others it has to be a large open space that overlooks the ocean or skyline, and some might just need a small, warm kitchen filled with character.

I felt the space in ways others might not even think twice about, a spark for design began to grow. The kind of homes that hold laughter, nurture dreams, and offer healing at the end of a long day by incorporating the outside. The experiences that built my drive for healing spaces and helping others through the challenges that I myself faced, has brought me to where I am today.

Of course, there are so many people and things that have affected my life and I am so incredibly grateful for all that has come my way - both adversity and blessings. And, I hope to provide reliable support and a strengthened community in the years to come both in and out of the beautiful rolling foothills that I live in now! Let’s dive into the vision, mission and value I have rooted my business and lifestyle in today.

When I began my studies for design, through the University of Tennessee for Architecture and Design, I found myself being pulled toward the most to the concept of functionality and mentality — incorporating nurturing aspects for both mental and physical health as well as storage and accessibility so that the spaces actually work well.

In order to truly thrive, our home environments should function as a sanctuary. We can choose to use our spaces for recovery, purpose and prayer, hosting and connection, or simply rest. the spaces we live and work in aren't just a backdrop to life. They are foundations for it.

In fact, studies over the past decade have consistently shown that a well-designed, orderly, and nurturing environment leads to higher levels of happiness, productivity, and overall wellness. One study published in the Journal of Environmental Psychology concluded that physical clutter and disorganized spaces are directly linked to increased levels of cortisol (our stress hormone). Another study conducted by Roger Ulrich in the 1980’s in short, found that when people live surrounded by beauty, greenery, and open light, they their quality of life dramatically improves, reinforcing the idea that our environment is more impactful than we realize. Since then, countless hospitals, nursing homes, and eldercare facilities have designed patient rooms, with large windows that overlook greenery and gardens and maximized natural light through views of the outdoors. Follow-up research has shown that the residents of these facilities experienced:

  • Lower rates of depression

  • Higher reported happiness

  • Improved mobility and cognitive function

  • Longer life expectancy compared to those in sterile, enclosed environments

When Passion Found its Place…

"Your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love." — Nate Berkus

Since living on the West Coast in Northern California, it has been a mission of mine to invest in a home of my own and create an accessible service-based business that helps others do the same — not just to financially invest, but emotionally and spiritually too.

After beginning work as a business assistant in the property management field, my passion was fueled to continue working in the industry of homes, spaces, and design. I then gained the experience and confidence to continue onto studying for and receiving my license to sell real estate in the state of California. Immediately into the experience of selling real estate, I knew that I loved it and that this was just the very early stage of something much bigger…

The idea to empower homeowners grew and grew from there! I began envisioning a business that would teach others how to purchase with financial confidence, design a space the supports their wellbeing, and ensure a sense of stability and safety in the spaces around them.

It’s not just about the pretty countertops and aesthetic toys for your kids, it is about deeply understanding the needs that you have, your unique style, and the life that God has called you to.

And, I want to take a moment a clarify for those of you that may not be comfortable or experienced with the Christian faith or even just the bible. I whole heartedly believe that this business is meant to touch the lives or all who need it — there will never be any shame, standards, or forcefulness in any aspect of a faith that you hold. But, if I can shed a light on the truth of love given to us freely through Jesus, than I am here to share and soak in that with you as much as you will allow me. Because I feel lead to use my skills in organization, financial planning, and design support, I think that my offerings can best be described under the umbrella of Home Planning.

Building My Faith and Embracing this Role:

In a world that often feels chaotic and overstimulating, I want to help families create Homes That Heal — spaces that invite in peace, community, and the presence of God. Spaces where children grow up surrounded by love and simplicity. Where marriages are strengthened. Where families can be restored and re-centered on what matters most. I want my work to be an extension of my faith: a way to honor God through service, stewardship, and love.

As my Real Estate Career gained traction, it quickly became clear to me that there was something missing in the key strategies for individuals desiring to purchase a home for the first time or to know how to maximize the equity in their current home. Many people in my community and beyond seemed to be unsure of what steps were necessary in planning for homeownership and even after having purchased. That is why effective consultations that clarify the unique goals from day one followed by clear communication each step of the way quickly became my highest priority and the basis of my services.

Think of me through the lens of a supporter and friend who has done all of the back hand work to yield you the best results that are beyond the general publics wants and needs — but YOUR specific mission for a better life. And… I know that the sound of “a better life” can sound cheesy or unreachable to achieve perfect happiness in it…. but, our lives are happening each day and we do need to recognize the importance to go about it intentionally and to nurture our well-being through the peace we surround ourselves in.

An Inside Look At the Business Today:

For any future Homeowner unsure of where to begin, I offer private consultations (as long as is necessary) to capture and map out the full-picture hopes, dreams, and parameters of what a purchase might look like for that specific individual or family. I keep my eye directly on the market that is most fitting for you and never hesitate to aid in the understanding of all that is unknown along the process … yes it is okay that it is scary. But, that is why me, and many other agents with similar values as mine, take our position seriously and offer guidance whenever necessary. It is my fiduciary duty and promise to aim for full confidence in each homeowner that I work alongside.

If you live in the the Sierra Foothills and are longing for a better functionality and management of your home — maybe you have a few little ones and it is exhausting to constantly be keeping up with the never-ending cycle of house work. Or maybe you and your spouse have dreams of adding value to the home that you have been living in. Whatever your situation is, we will begin by sitting down together and mapping out what your deign, organization, or maintenance goals are inside of an open *and confidential* discussion about the boundaries of your finances. I have extensively learned about the aspects of homes and how their value is measured with an understanding of maintenance and material choices. If you decide that assistance is needed in de-cluttering and/or staging your home, I can be hired for private sessions and love getting to work on those projects!

Lastly, if you are someone who lives outside of my immediate service.. no need to fret! My business is built for all, and that is why I offer virtual support for your home through customizable goal charts, outside agent connecting, educational content, and even design and planning support consults with Zoom! Because if I am able to see that each client I work feels seen, heard, and supported: I will know that my business is fostering change and building transformation both big and small.

An Invitation just for you:

In order to witness my calling become a reality, I hope to create spaces that nurture healing, build communities that value authenticity and reliability in each other, empower families with the confidence to make wise real estate decisions, and to simply foster happiness in being home.

If you’re ready to find your next chapter — a chapter filled with peace, purpose, and possibilities — I would be honored to walk with you. Here's to homes that heal, futures that flourish, and hearts that stay rooted in what truly matters.
I can’t wait to see the promise God holds for you.

“My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”
Isaiah 32:18
